Club Dismissal Times

As we continue to offer a growing number of extra-curricular activities at Leckhampton, we would ask that all parents support us by collecting their children at the correct dismissal time for their club. Our clubs end at different times to prevent congestion at the gate so some parents may need to wait for a short time if they are collecting children from more than one club.

Please could we ask that the following dismissal times are adhered to. We would like to thank you for your continued support.

Mid Year Report Feedback

We would like to thank parents for completing our short online survey following the Mid-Year Reports being published this week. The survey will remain open until Friday 13th February at 12pm.

Pupils' Reading Books

We would like to thank all families who have returned school reading books. It has been great to see our reading sets looking a little fuller. If anybody else has any school reading books at home, please do send them in next week. Thank you.

Active Journeys to School Week - Spring Into Action Day 2nd March 2026

We will be holding an Active Journeys to School Week in the week beginning 2nd March. All children will be encouraged to walk, cycle or scoot to school. The families who travel by car will be encouraged to complete a part of their journey in an active way where possible. For example, by parking a short distance from school and walking the final minutes of the journey when possible.

On Monday 2nd March, we will also be holding a Spring into Action Day which is a non-uniform day. Children will be invited to wear bright colours on this day in return for a donation to the Church Road Pedestrian Crossing Appeal.

A ParentPay link will be set up for the school event after the half-term holidays. Parents are asked to donate at least £1 per child towards this appeal if they wish to take part.

If you would like to find out more about this appeal, please follow the link below:

Our Current Value for Collective Worship

Our current school value is generosity. Generosity is about more than giving money – it’s about giving our time, kindness, attention, and care to others. Small, thoughtful actions can make a big difference to how people feel and help our school and wider community become a kinder place.

In school, we will be encouraging children to notice opportunities to be generous: helping a friend, sharing resources, listening carefully, offering encouragement, and thinking about how our actions affect others.

You can support this at home by trying some of these ideas together:

  • Do one small act of kindness each day as a family – who did it help and how did it make you feel?
  • Write or draw a thank-you note for someone who helps you.
  • Give your time: help a sibling, neighbour, or family member without being asked.
  • Share something you’re good at with someone else – a skill, a game, or a smile!

Questions to talk about at home:

  • What does generosity look like in our family?
  • How can we be generous even when it’s difficult?
  • How does being generous make others feel? How does it make us feel?
