Celebrating Out of School Achievements
Next week, pupils are invited to bring in any certificates or awards they have achieved outside of school to share with their class during worship time.
Extra Curricular Clubs
As you are aware, there were no external or teacher-led clubs scheduled for the final two weeks of term. The only clubs which will take place are where a specific reason has meant that an external provider has needed to reschedule a date, for example, due to the heatwave. We are currently finalising the arrangements for clubs in Autumn Term and we plan to share this information with you in week beginning Monday 13th July.
End of Year Reports
Next week, pupils will bring home their end of year report from their teacher. We ask that parents kindly complete and return the slip to the teacher.
Transition
On Wednesday 8th July, all pupils (except Year 6) will spend the morning, from 9.30am to 11.30am with their new teacher in their new classroom. Teachers are currently planning activities to help them get to know the children and to give the children a flavour of what the next year group will be like.
Detailed transition meetings are taking place over the coming weeks where your child’s teachers (current & new) will share information regarding your child. You will then have an opportunity to meet your child’s new teacher at Informal Open Evening on Wednesday 8th July from 4.15pm until 5.15pm.
Pupil Exercise Books
During the week beginning Wednesday 15th July, we would like all pupils to bring a named, sturdy carrier bag to school so that they can bring home their work from this year. We will keep hold of their current Maths and Writing books which will be passed on to their new teacher.
End of Term Friday 17th July 2026
Please may we remind families that the school will close on Friday 17th July at the usual time for the summer break. The term for children will begin on Thursday 3rd September 2026. Please subscribe to our school calendar for more updates:
