Comic Relief 2026

We would like to invite pupils to take part in our Comic Relief event on Friday 20th March.

To raise money for Comic Relief, pupils are invited to wear a splash of red to school (non-uniform day).

Please make donations via Parent Pay using the link below:

We would like to thank you in advance for your support.

Wellbeing Week 2026

Each year, we organise a Wellbeing Week for our pupils, where we plan additional opportunities for the children to be active, connect with others and experience moments of joy.

This year, Wellbeing Week will take place in the final week of the Spring Term (Monday 23rd March to Friday 27th March).

As part of this event, each class will have a session in Forest School, and we would like to invite parents to join their child for their session. Parents are invited to arrive at the Church Road entrance for their child’s allocated slot and to visit the woodland area with their child’s class, their class teacher and one of our fully qualified Forest School Teachers.

The dates and times for each class session have been shared via email, and a signup system is open on School Cloud  so that parents can book to attend. If parents are not available, we understand that a grandparent or other close relative may attend instead. We kindly ask that no more than one adult attends per child to ensure sessions do not become overcrowded. Unfortunately, we are not able to invite younger, pre-school children to the sessions for health and safety reasons.

We appreciate that some families may not be able to attend due to other commitments such as work. Please be reassured that all pupils will be fully supported by staff members, and photographs will be shared on Class Dojo for families to enjoy.

More information will be shared nearer the time about pupils’ Forest School kits.

Celebrating Pupils' Achievements

Each term, we invite pupils to bring in any outofschool awards, certificates, or medals so that we can celebrate their successes together. Next week, all pupils are warmly encouraged to bring in any achievements they would like to share with their class during class collective worship. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to feel proud of their efforts beyond the classroom and for us to recognise the wide range of talents and interests across our school.

Kindness in Action at Our School

As a school, we are proud to support a range of charities and fundraising initiatives, and we could not do this without the kindness of our pupils and families.

In recent weeks, we have been delighted to take part in several charitable events. On our Bright Colours Day, our families donated an incredible £1,196 towards the pedestrian crossing appeal, helping it reach its £9,000 target!

Emma in Year 4 has also been busy collecting items for Cheltenham Animal Shelter. These will be delivered to the shelter over the weekend, and staff there are extremely appreciative of your thoughtful contributions.

We would like to thank you for your continued generosity.
